The Eurasian Economic Union
Introduction
This unit provides a brief overview of what the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is. You will get information on the history, institutional structure, and policies of the EAEU. The Eurasian Economic Union, as a project of economic integration in the former Soviet region including Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, is closely modeled on the European Union. In the following, you will read a short introductory text about the EAEU and further look at its historic timeline, where you will be encouraged to take notes.
