Introduction to language learning and teaching
Definition
A Language Cafe is a sociable and friendly way to practise languages without attending formal classes. It provides a social space for people to meet, talk and learn languages together in an informal and sociable way. Language Cafes are run for and by the people who use them. They include usually one person who is responsible for the facilitation of the session (facilitator) and people interested in learning a foreign language. Language cafes could include native speakers but this is not necessary.
