Unit I – Regional Economic Integration through Law: an Introduction
A. Introduction
The aim of this course is to provide students of law, governance, public administration, and economics with a targeted introduction to the most pertinent legal issues associated with the phenomenon of regional economic integration through law.
In this unit, we do four things. Firstly, we provide an introduction to the concept of regional economic integration through law. Secondly, we give a broad overview of regional economic integration as a legal and economic phenomenon. Thirdly, we outline the approach we chose to teach legal issues of regional economic integration in this course. Fourthly, we introduce the structure of this course and the content of the following chapters.
